If you want a well located stay that still feels authentic and locally owned, book either Bay Gardens Inn or Bay Gardens Beach Resort & Spa. Both are owned by a Saint Lucian couple and are right next to each other in Rodney Bay, which means you can use facilities at both properties. An absolute must visit for first timers. This short and easy hike offers the best views of the Pitons without the effort of a full mountain climb. The trail is well maintained and suitable for most fitness levels, making it one of the most rewarding viewpoints in Saint Lucia.

Morne Coubaril Estate

A beautifully preserved working estate just outside Soufriere. Here you can learn about Saint Lucia’s cocoa production, sugar cane processing and traditional island life. The estate also offers horse riding, zip lining and stunning views of the Pitons.
